AMC operates approximately 1,000 theatres and 11,000 screens wordwide, making them the largest movie exhibition company in the world.
After a rigorous exploration of the competitive landscape the Dedica team developed a unique strategy to influence consumer behavior at the point of purchase. Beginning with elevated design anchored in neuromarketing and shopper marketing principles, Dedica introduced a “run-of-show” concept that led consumers through an engaging journey that leveraged mindful animation to highlight specific menu items and combos.
After a 12 week test that proved to be extremely successful, AMC rolled out the new digital menu board concepts to all theaters across the U.S. To date, the AMC brand has experienced significant top-line F&B sales growth and a per-person sales increase directly attributed to the new design and strategy.
